Welcome to Zadie. By browsing our website and purchasing our products, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Our Products

Zadie bags are artisan-crafted from recycled plastic bottles. Due to the nature of recycled materials and the hand-finishing process:

Slight variations in colour, texture, and finish are to be expected.
Measurements may vary slightly from those listed.
We attempt to display colours as accurately as possible, but we cannot guarantee that your monitor or phone screen will reflect the exact colour of the product in real life.

2. Pricing and Payment

All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice.
Payments must be cleared in full before your order is dispatched.

3. Shipping and Delivery

We aim to ship all orders within 1–2 business days.
Delivery timeframes are estimates provided by our couriers (usually 1–3 days for North Island and 2–4 days for South Island).
Zadie is not responsible for delays caused by the courier service or incorrect address details provided by the customer.

4. Returns and Refunds

Because we are a small business and offer opportunities to view products in person at local markets, we do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind.

Faulty Items: In accordance with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, if a product is faulty or damaged upon arrival, please contact us within 7 days of receipt with photos of the issue.
If the item is deemed genuinely faulty, we will offer a replacement or a full refund.

5. Limitation of Liability

Zadie is not liable for any damage caused by misuse of the product or normal wear and tear over time. Our bags are strong and waterproof, but they should be cared for according to our care instructions (hand wash/air dry).

6. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. We only collect the personal information necessary to process your order (name, address, email). We will never sell your data to third parties.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Your continued use of the site following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
